Loie Fuller

For me its very difficult talk about a person that I admire, because there are very few people who really I admire.
But, in a illumination of my mind, I remember to Loie Fuller a french dancer. She was born in 1862 and dies in 1928.

She worked like a dancer, actress and writer, but her principal influence is in the dance and in her visual effects in the customer, movement and lighting, she used advanced technology for her times.
I like her, because her form to dance don't reply convencional dance, their movements respond to the spontaneous reaction of her body when feeling the sound of the music, its more organic and not pretend be like ballet. Her movements are based in flower petals, insects and atmospheric phenomenon.
Her body wasn't conventional, she's not a beauty stereotype for the dance.

Regarding to visual effects her long skirt and the big tunics of silk with which she acted was also out of the norm, on the clothing she projected colors with lights that she designed. The result of this left impressioned those who contemplated the show.
It's very important say that this, because all this happened at the end of the 19th century, when there was nothing called "modern dance". She is a precursor to contemporary and modern dance and in the scenic lighting
